skytex-glass
Skytex Textured Glass, Cut to Size

Skytex is a ribbed texture at about half the pitch of reeded glass. The ribs are narrow enough that from across a room the surface reads as a soft shimmer rather than a row of lines. That makes it the quieter choice where reeded would be too graphic: a cabinet front, a shower panel, a partition that should not dominate the wall. Privacy is good, and light still comes through.

How it is sold

By the square foot. Give us the width and height of each piece and how many you need. Every piece is rounded up to the next whole square foot. The minimum is 5 square feet for the whole order: you can order less and it is charged as 5 square feet.

Choosing a size

Pick one of the standard sizes from the size list, or choose Custom size and type the width and height: the calculator on this page prices it straight away. A single piece cannot be larger than one sheet. For a bigger wall we join panels, so call (866) 823-4523 and we will plan it with you.

Holes and edges

Holes are $15 each, from 1/8 to 3 in. Edges are priced separately: seamed, flat polished or pencil polished.

Specifications

Product

Skytex textured glass

Look

Fine vertical ribs, about half the pitch of reeded

Thickness

1/4 in

Weight

About 3.3 lb per square foot

Sold by

The square foot

Minimum

5 square feet per order, a smaller order is charged as 5

Cutting

Cut to your sizes

Edges

Seamed, flat polished or pencil polished, priced separately

Holes

$15 each, 1/8 to 3 in

Rib direction

Confirmed with you on every order

Before you order

Tell us which way the ribs should run and which face points out.
