Glazing Shims — Horseshoe & U Shims by the Box

Plastic shims for levelling, aligning and spacing windows, doors, storefronts and curtain wall. Both lines have an open slot, so the shim slides in around a bolt or anchor that is already in place instead of having to come off it.

They will not rot like wood or rust like steel, and every shim in the box is the same thickness — which is what you notice on a long run of storefront.

The two lines are not interchangeable. Horseshoe shims are 3" x 4" with a 7/8" bolt hole; U shims are 1-1/2" x 2" with a 1/2" bolt hole. A 1/2" slot will not go round a 7/8" anchor. Both are sold 1,000 pieces to the box, one gauge per box, colour coded by thickness.
