Acid etched glass is frosted chemically on one face. That is the difference you feel with your hand: sandblasted glass is rough and holds fingerprints, acid etched glass is smooth and wipes clean. On a low iron base the frost comes out a pure white rather than a greenish white, which matters on a large door or partition where the whole surface is the finish. We can etch the full sheet or only part of it, so a clear band or border along one edge is possible.
