Back painted glass is painted on the rear face, so you look at the color through the glass and get a hard, washable surface with no visible grout or seams. We paint white on a low iron base, because painting white on ordinary clear glass gives you a white with a green shadow in it. The paint goes on after the glass is cut and tempered, which is why every hole, notch and finished size has to be settled before the piece is painted.
How it is sold
By the square foot. Give us the width and height of each piece and how many you need. Every piece is rounded up to the next whole square foot. The minimum is 5 square feet for the whole order: you can order less and it is charged as 5 square feet.
Choosing a size
Pick one of the standard sizes from the size list, or choose Custom size and type the width and height: the calculator on this page prices it straight away. A single piece cannot be larger than one sheet. For a bigger wall we join panels, so call (866) 823-4523 and we will plan it with you.
Holes and edges
Holes are $15 each, from 1/8 to 3 in, and have to be drilled before painting. Edges are priced separately: seamed, flat polished or pencil polished.

Before you order
Order all the panels for one wall together so they are painted in a single batch and the white matches. Every hole and notch has to be on the drawing, because nothing can be cut or drilled after painting.
Care
Clean the front face with a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Keep solvents and ammonia off the painted rear face.
